Nested Model Testing

Nested Model Testing is a statistical hypothesis testing framework used in structural equation modeling to assess metric invariance by comparing the goodness-of-fit of a constrained model nested within a less restricted parent model, where the distinguishing feature is the sequential imposition of equality constraints on factor loadings across groups to evaluate measurement equivalence.
