Necrotic Core Characterization

Necrotic Core Characterization is a methodological framework in tumor imaging and histopathological analysis that specifically identifies, quantifies, and spatially maps the avascular, hypoxic regions within a tumor mass where cellular death has occurred due to insufficient nutrient and oxygen supply, thereby distinguishing these biologically inert zones from viable, proliferative tumor tissue.
