Narrative Revisionism is a cinematic discourse within film studies that reinterprets and restructures traditional narrative conventions by challenging classical ideals of character, causality, closure, and chronology, particularly through the destabilization of protagonist agency, moral ambiguity, and open-ended resolutions in the context of New Hollywood cinema.
