Nanostructured Surface Features is a morphological construct characterized by ordered or disordered topographical variations on a solid surface at the nanometer scale, distinguished from other surface features by their size-dependent physical properties and their emergence from thin film growth processes that induce nanoscale heterogeneity in surface architecture.
