Mutual Inductance

Mutual Inductance is a physical phenomenon in coupled circuits and magnetic circuit analysis whereby the changing magnetic flux produced by current in one coil induces a voltage in an adjacent coil, quantified as the ratio of the induced electromotive force in the secondary coil to the rate of change of current in the primary coil.
