Munc18-mediated Secretion

Munc18-Mediated Secretion is a molecular mechanism of regulated exocytosis in which the Sec1/Munc18 (SM) family protein Munc18 orchestrates vesicle docking and fusion by stabilizing syntaxin and bridging SNARE complex assembly, thereby ensuring precise control of neurotransmitter or hormone release.
