Munc13-mediated Priming

Munc13-Mediated Priming is a molecular mechanism in synaptic vesicle exocytosis that specifically refers to the process by which Munc13 proteins catalyze the conformational activation of syntaxin and stabilize the SNARE complex assembly, thereby rendering synaptic vesicles fusion-competent in preparation for neurotransmitter release.
