Multimodal Intertextuality
Multimodal Intertextuality is a discursive phenomenon in which meaning is constructed through the interrelation of texts across multiple semiotic modes, distinguished by the integration of linguistic, visual, auditory, and other modal resources to reference, recontextualize, or transform prior or co-present texts within a unified communicative event.
