Multilayer Network Matrices
Multilayer Network Matrices is a formal matrix representation that extends the adjacency matrix framework to capture multiple layers of interconnected nodes by organizing each layer’s adjacency relationships into a block-diagonal or higher-dimensional structure, thereby enabling the simultaneous visualization and analysis of cross-layer and intra-layer connectivity patterns in multiplex or multilayer networks.
