Mueller Calculus
Mueller Calculus is a matrix-based formalism in polarization optics that belongs to the class of mathematical frameworks used for describing and analyzing the polarization properties of light and their transformations through optical systems, distinguished by its use of four-dimensional Stokes vectors and 4×4 Mueller matrices to represent polarized states and polarization-modifying elements, respectively.
