More-than-human Ethics

More-Than-Human Ethics is a normative framework within environmental ethics that extends moral consideration beyond human beings to include nonhuman entities—such as animals, plants, ecosystems, and landscapes—as co-constitutive subjects of value and agency, thereby challenging anthropocentric ethical paradigms by recognizing the intrinsic worth and relational interdependence of all beings in the Anthropocene.
