Mood Agreement

Mood Agreement is a syntactic phenomenon in which the morphological marking of mood on a verb or auxiliary element co-occurs systematically with corresponding mood features on other elements within the clause, such as subjects or complements, thereby reflecting a grammatical concordance that signals the speaker’s attitude or modality across multiple constituents.
