Mongol Relations
Mongol Relations is a historical construct that denotes the complex diplomatic, military, and geopolitical interactions between the Mamluk Sultanate and the Mongol Empire during the 13th and 14th centuries, distinguished from other inter-polity relations of the later Crusades period by its focus on the strategic rivalry, intermittent conflict, and cautious diplomacy between two major Islamic and steppe powers contesting control over the Middle East.
