Modular Galois Representations

Modular Galois Representation is a continuous, odd, two-dimensional representation of the absolute Galois group of the rational numbers into the group of invertible 2×2 matrices over a finite field or p-adic ring that arises from a modular form via the Eichler–Shimura construction or the modularity lifting theorems.
