Modified Blackbody Fitting

Modified Blackbody Fitting is a spectral modeling technique used in astrophysics that characterizes the thermal emission of interstellar dust by adjusting the ideal blackbody radiation formula with a frequency-dependent emissivity index to account for the non-ideal, gray-body behavior of dust grains in the far-infrared to submillimeter wavelength regime.
