Mixed Uremic Osteodystrophy

Mixed Uremic Osteodystrophy is a subtype of renal osteodystrophy characterized by the coexistence of features typical of both high-turnover bone disease, such as osteitis fibrosa cystica, and low-turnover bone disorders, such as adynamic bone disease, within the same patient, reflecting a complex imbalance in bone remodeling due to chronic kidney disease-mineral and bone disorder (CKD-MBD).
