Mira Variables

Mira Variables is a subclass of long-period pulsating variable stars characterized by large amplitude photometric variations and spectral types in the late M, C, or S series, distinguished from other variable star classes by their well-defined, regular periods typically exceeding 100 days and associated with evolved red giant stars on the asymptotic giant branch.
