Migratory Insertion Intermediates
Migratory Insertion Intermediates is a transient organometallic species in which a ligand migrates from a metal center to an adjacent coordinated unsaturated ligand, forming a new carbon–ligand bond while remaining bound to the metal, thereby representing a key mechanistic step in migratory insertion reactions.
