Migration Balance
Migration Balance is a population-level metric in metapopulation genetics and population growth dynamics that quantifies the net difference between the rate of gene flow into a subpopulation (immigration) and the rate of gene flow out of that subpopulation (emigration), thereby influencing allele frequency stability and demographic connectivity within a fragmented landscape.
