Microscale Flow Resistance

Microscale Flow Resistance is a theoretical construct that characterizes the intrinsic resistance to fluid motion at the pore scale in porous media, distinguished from macroscale formulations by its explicit dependence on non-Darcy effects such as inertial forces, surface roughness, and fluid–solid interactions that emerge at microscopic levels.
