Microphotonics

Microphotonics is an interdisciplinary field of research and engineering focused on the study and manipulation of light at the micro-scale. It investigates the interaction of photons with structures and devices whose dimensions are comparable to or larger than the wavelength of light, enabling the miniaturization, integration, and creation of novel functionalities for optical systems on chip platforms.
