Michell Integral

The "Michell Integral" is a mathematical formulation in fluid dynamics that belongs to the class of theoretical models for estimating wave-making resistance of ships, specifically distinguished by its derivation from linearized potential flow theory and its integration over a distribution of sources along the hull to predict the wave pattern and associated energy loss in deep water of finite depth.
