Meteorological Target Classification
Meteorological Target Classification is a radar signal processing technique that categorizes atmospheric scatterers by their physical structure and phase state—such as rain, snow, hail, or graupel—based on the analysis of dual-polarization radar variables to distinguish hydrometeor types from non-meteorological echoes and between different precipitation regimes.
