Metal-polymer Joining
Metal-Polymer Joining is a joining process that integrates dissimilar materials by establishing a persistent interface between a metallic component and a polymeric component through mechanical interlocking, chemical bonding, or hybrid adhesion mechanisms, distinguished from other joining methods by the intrinsic mismatch in physicochemical and mechanical properties between the two substrate classes.
