Mesh Adaptation

Mesh adaptation is a computational methodology employed in numerical simulations to dynamically modify the structure, resolution, and distribution of the computational mesh throughout the simulation process, typically driven by error indicators or solution features, in order to enhance solution accuracy and computational efficiency, particularly in regions exhibiting complex or rapidly changing phenomena.
