Merit Transfer

Merit Transfer is a soteriological practice in Buddhist tradition whereby an individual consciously redirects the positive karmic fruits of their virtuous actions to benefit other sentient beings, particularly deceased relatives or beings in lower rebirth states, thereby distinguishing it from merit accumulation or personal merit retention within the economy of karma and spiritual liberation.
