Meristem Indeterminacy

Meristem Indeterminacy is a developmental plant biology construct defining the inherent capacity of a meristematic tissue to maintain an undifferentiated, self-renewing state and continuously generate new organs or tissues throughout the organism’s life cycle, distinguishing it from determinate meristems that cease activity after a finite number of cell divisions.
