Mediated Community Performance
Mediated Community Performance is a form of community-engaged theatrical practice that, as a subset of participatory performance, is distinguished by the intentional use of mediation—such as digital technologies, recorded media, or third-party representational frameworks—to facilitate, structure, or intervene in the creation and presentation of performances co-developed with non-professional communities.
