Maxwell-stefan Diffusion

Maxwell-Stefan Diffusion is a theoretical framework in multicomponent mass transfer that describes the diffusion of species in a mixture by relating the chemical potential gradients of each component to their respective fluxes, distinguishing it from Fickian diffusion through its explicit account of intermolecular interactions and thermodynamic non-ideality in the diffusion process.
