Matrix-preferential Flow Interaction

Matrix-Preferential Flow Interaction is a hydrological process in which water and solutes in variably saturated porous media simultaneously interact between the soil matrix and preferential flow pathways, thereby modulating infiltration, redistribution, and transport dynamics through coupled diffusion and macropore-channeling mechanisms.
