Matrix Resistance is a methodological construct in analytical chemistry that specifically accounts for the suppression or enhancement of analyte signals due to coexisting substances within a sample matrix, thereby distinguishing it from other matrix effect mitigation strategies by its focus on quantifying and correcting for the matrix-induced variability in measurement response.
