Maternal Worry
Maternal Worry is a psychological construct denoting a specific dimension of perinatal anxiety characterized by persistent, intrusive concerns about the mother’s own health, the fetus’s or infant’s well-being, and the impending responsibilities of motherhood, distinguished from general anxiety by its circumscription to the prenatal and postnatal periods and its thematic focus on reproductive and maternal outcomes.
