Mass Discharge Estimation
Mass Discharge Estimation is a quantitative method used in contaminant plume delineation and site characterization that determines the rate at which a contaminant mass flows through a control plane by integrating concentration and groundwater flux data, distinguishing it from simpler concentration-based or volume-based approaches by directly assessing contaminant load over time.
