Manning Formula

The Manning Formula is an empirical equation used in open-channel flow hydraulics that relates the flow velocity to the hydraulic radius, channel slope, and a roughness coefficient known as Manning’s n, distinguishing itself from other flow resistance formulas by its simplicity and widespread application in uniform steady flow computations.
