Malingered Amnesia
Malingered Amnesia is a type of feigned memory impairment in which an individual deliberately fabricates or exaggerates deficits in recall, typically to evade legal responsibility or obtain a secondary gain, distinguished from genuine amnestic disorders by the absence of corresponding neuropathological evidence and inconsistent or implausible symptom presentation.
