Magnetization Reversal

Magnetization Reversal is a fundamental magnetic process in which the net magnetization vector of a ferromagnetic, ferrimagnetic, or exchange-biased material inverts its orientation in response to an externally applied magnetic field, thermal activation, spin-polarized current, or interfacial coupling, distinguishing it from irreversible domain wall motion or partial magnetization rotation by constituting a complete, often hysteretic, reorientation of magnetic order at the macroscopic or nanoscale level.
