Macroprudential Supervision

Macroprudential Supervision is a form of prudential financial supervision that focuses on safeguarding the stability and resilience of the financial system as a whole by identifying, monitoring, and limiting systemic risk generated by the collective behavior, interconnections, and cyclical vulnerabilities of financial institutions and markets, rather than concentrating solely on the safety and soundness of individual institutions.
