Macro-rate Constants

Macro-Rate Constants is a pair of first-order rate parameters in a two-compartment pharmacokinetic model that describe the overall rates of drug distribution and elimination, derived from the eigenvalues of the system’s differential equations and distinguishing themselves from micro-rate constants by representing composite processes rather than individual transfer rates between compartments.
