Luteal Phase Support

Luteal Phase Support is a therapeutic hormonal supplementation strategy in assisted reproductive technology that, typically after controlled ovarian stimulation and embryo transfer, provides exogenous progesterone (with or without agents that enhance luteal LH activity) during the luteal phase to compensate treatment-induced luteal insufficiency and thereby optimize endometrial receptivity, embryo implantation, and early pregnancy maintenance.
