Low-temperature Creep
Low-Temperature Creep is a time-dependent deformation process, within the class of creep behaviors, that occurs at temperatures typically below approximately 0.3 to 0.5 times the absolute melting temperature of a material, distinguished by diffusion-limited mechanisms and dislocation activity suppressed by reduced thermal activation.
