Long Division

Long Division is a systematic computational algorithm, classified under whole number operations, that decomposes the division of a large integer (dividend) by a smaller non-zero integer (divisor) into a sequence of digit-level operations, distinguished from other division methods by its use of successive estimation, subtraction, and remainder propagation to yield a quotient and, if applicable, a remainder.
