Local Analytics is a computational methodology within IoT gateway design that enables data processing and interpretation at the edge of the network, distinguished from centralized or cloud-based approaches by its execution of analytical tasks in proximity to data sources to reduce latency, conserve bandwidth, and ensure timely decision-making.
