Load-induced Uplift

Load-Induced Uplift is a geophysical response within the lithospheric flexure framework wherein the elastic or viscoelastic deformation of the lithosphere results in regional elevation gain due to the removal or redistribution of surface or subsurface loads, distinguished from other flexural responses by its causal dependence on load dynamics rather than endogenous tectonic forces.
