Lithospheric Magnetization
Lithospheric Magnetization is a geophysical property representing the permanent magnetization of Earth's lithosphere, arising from the alignment of magnetic minerals in rocks during their formation and subsequently preserved in the solid Earth, thereby contributing to the long-wavelength spatial variations observed in the geomagnetic field.
