Linear Trapezoidal Rule

The Linear Trapezoidal Rule is a numerical integration method used in pharmacokinetics to estimate the area under the plasma concentration-time curve by connecting consecutive data points with straight lines and calculating the area of the resulting trapezoids, distinguishing it from other interpolation-based methods by its linear approximation between sampled time points.
