Lightning Charge Transfer

Lightning Charge Transfer is a physical process in atmospheric electricity whereby discrete regions of electric charge are redistributed between or within cloud layers during an intra-cloud lightning discharge, distinguished from other charge motion phenomena by its rapid, high-current, and channelized nature associated with dielectric breakdown in thunderstorms.
