Lesion Threshold Estimation

Lesion Threshold Estimation is a quantitative metric in dental radiography that determines the minimum radiographic density change in a bitewing image required to reliably detect the onset of interproximal carious lesions, distinguishing it from general diagnostic criteria by specifying a perceptibility threshold for early enamel demineralization.
