Lesbian Authorship

Lesbian Authorship is a cinematic authorial praxis in which the creative vision, narrative authority, and textual production of a film are led by self-identified lesbian filmmakers or artists, thereby centering lesbian subjectivity, aesthetics, and epistemologies as a distinct mode of authorial expression within the broader category of film authorship.
