Length-based Selectivity
Length-Based Selectivity is a fisheries science metric that quantifies the probability of a fish of a given length being retained by a longline fishery, distinguishing it from other selectivity measures by its explicit dependence on the morphometric relationship between fish size and gear interaction rather than age or weight.
