Leaf Disc Transformation

Leaf Disc Transformation is a plant genetic transformation protocol in which small, circular pieces of sterile leaf tissue are co-cultivated with Agrobacterium tumefaciens harboring a desired recombinant plasmid, enabling localized T-DNA transfer and stable integration into the plant genome as a means of generating transgenic plants.
